PTFE leads on temperature (-200 to +260 degC) and chemical resistance but is harder to recover and has more cold flow. FEP recovers more readily and is easier to shrink, at a lower temperature ceiling. PEEK adds mechanical strength and wear resistance for structural tubing.
For sensor and process lines in aggressive fluids, PTFE is the default. For recoverable shrink in the same fluids, FEP. For a tube that also carries load, PEEK.
Tell us the fluid, temperature and whether the tube must recover, and we will name the grade.
