FR-4 is G10 with a flame-retardant brominated epoxy (UL 94 V-0). Mechanically and electrically they are close; FR-4 is specified when the part must self-extinguish. We stock both and machine to either grade.
Yes. Filament winding lets us set the glass angle to match hoop, axial or combined loading. Tell us the pressure or column load and we will propose the winding schedule.
Yes. We hold ±0.05 mm on ID/OD with CNC turning and grinding using diamond-coated tools to avoid delamination.
It has good arc resistance but is not arc-quenching. For direct arc contact, pair with ceramic-filled or synthetic arc-quenching composites.
