ECR Epoxy Fiberglass Insulation Rods
Moisture-resistant pultruded rods for outdoor and switchgear duty. ECR glass resists corrosion from moisture better than standard E-glass, so these rods suit outdoor and humid switchgear. We pultrude them to diameter and straightness. Rods are cut, faced and machined to the operating-rod or spacer drawing, with runout checked over length.

Why ECR epoxy fiberglass for this application
ECR (boron-free) glass rods carry high dielectric and flexural values and leach less in humid or high-CTI duty, which is why they hold up in transformer and switchgear standoffs.
End shoulder and thread work must not cut into the core zone; confirm remaining-wall and axial-load capacity. Rods warp slightly with storage humidity.

Feature and remaining-wall review
