High-strength, arc-resistant sheet for switchgear parts. Glass melamine (G5/G9) sheet brings high mechanical strength and arc resistance to switchgear parts that see load and clearing energy. We machine it to plate, barrier and structural shape with faces finished for assembly. Both are glass melamine; grade is set by temperature class and availability. We specify from service. Glass-melamine (G5 mechanical / G9 electrical, and 3233) is the sheet grade chosen where a flat barrier may see arc splatter or heat while still needing structural stiffness in distribution gear.
Hygroscopic when left unwrapped. Confirm G5 vs G9 vs 3233 against the mechanical and tracking duty; not a general-purpose cosmetic laminate.
Standards: ASTM D709, IEC 60893, UL 94 V-0.
CNC turning and milling for precise dimensions; brittle material requires sharp, low-speed tools. Review feature depth, edge distance and remaining wall against critical geometries. Capability is confirmed on your drawing, not from a blanket tolerance.
We state the control plan with you. Batch traceability links raw material lot to finished part.

Yes. CNC threading is possible but brittleness requires sharp, low-speed tools. Feature depth and remaining wall must be reviewed per drawing.
Yes, for moderate-energy arcs. For high-clearing-energy MV/HV fuses, use ceramic-filled or synthetic arc-quenching composites.
