High-purity 2:1 PFA heat-shrink tubing for semiconductor fluid handling, analytical instruments and chemical-resistant sleeving.
2:1 PFA heat-shrink tubing is the high-purity end of the fluoropolymer range. With a 2:1 recovery ratio it can drop over a connector or fitting and close down onto a smaller diameter, which is why it is used on semiconductor wet-process lines, analytical instruments and chemical-handling equipment where leachables and ions cannot be tolerated.
PFA resists virtually all chemicals and survives continuous heat well above what polyolefin or even FEP handles, so it is specified where the fluid or vapour would attack other polymers. We treat this as a high-end, low-volume line: the qualification is on purity, dimensional control and supplier approval, and the route in is the semiconductor tool subsystem and fluidics integrators rather than a catalogue search.

PFA carries the chemical resistance of PTFE with better melt-processability and a higher purity profile than FEP, which is why it is the default for semiconductor fluidics. The 2:1 ratio matters mechanically: it lets one size drop over a bulky fitting or ferrule and recover onto a smaller tube, cutting the number of stocked diameters. Against a 1.5:1 or 4:1 tube, 2:1 is the general-purpose middle that covers most fitting-to-tube transitions.
For semiconductor use the limiting factors are ions and particulates, not just dimensions. We offer a low-ion, low-particulate grade with clean-cut ends, and hold recovered ID to a stated tolerance. Specify recovered ID and wall, not just the supplied (expanded) size, and state the process purity class.
We state the control plan with you. Batch traceability links the resin lot to the finished tube and the inspection record.
Full fluoropolymer range.
Higher temperature ceiling for precision use.
Non-shrink PTFE for device use.
PFA offers higher purity and easier processing than PTFE while keeping near-equal chemical and temperature resistance. Choose PFA for semiconductor and high-purity fluid use.
It lets one size fit over a larger fitting and recover onto a smaller tube, reducing stocked diameters on fitting-to-tube transitions.
Continuous use up to about 260 C, depending on wall and grade.
A high-purity, low-ion and low-particulate grade is offered; state the process purity class when quoting.
